However, his racing journey was temporarily interrupted when his father, who also shared his name and had competed in limited sprints at EastBay Raceway Park, fell seriously ill and required a life-saving liver transplant. After several years, Dustin reignited his passion for racing during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, diving into iRacing. It didn’t take long for him to rediscover his need for speed, and his hobby quickly evolved into a professional career. Since then, Dustin has competed in numerous prestigious races, gaining recognition for his strategic mindset and fearless driving style. Dustin Burtron is a Seminole Florida Native who graduated from Osceola High School. After graduation Dustin began his sim racing career utilizing the IRacing platform. While honing his skills on IRacing, his dreams came true and his family purchased a limited sprint car. His First practice was at Eastbay Raceway Park. He felt right at home in the car and on the track. His times matched those that had multiple years on him. His first race was soon thereafter at Ocala Racetrack.
